What are virtual cards and how to use them?
These are unique, budget specific cards that provide extra security for all online transactions. Create a virtual card for each online vendor (AWS, Google, LinkedIn, etc.) and never miss out on any payment due date.
As card numbers are unique, If fraudulent activity occurs for one card, it will be isolated to that card. So you don't need to go through every single online vendor and change your card number.
The best part is you can create as many virtual cards as you need.
Types:
One Time- These cards are linked to the available limit we've selected for that particular card, it expires once they reach the limit unless you specify an auto lock date.
Monthly- These cards reset on the 1st of every month with the amount that is set as a limit when created. They are mainly used for the payment of fixed monthly charges of any service/software like - Hubspot, Mandrill, AWS, etc.
Creating a virtual card
Go to the ["Cards"] tab on the Dashboard, navigate to Virtual cards and click on the add icon as shown:
