Overview

This guide explains how to top up account wallets on the Volopay platform based on the region relevant to you.


Start by navigating to the dashboard section. Here, view all transaction details in an analytical format.

Step 1: Click on the Add and Receive option on your Volopay dashboard to top up the account.


For Australia

Method - Direct Transfer

Directly add funds by sending them to the provided account details. This method allows users to add funds from the current account registered under the company's name, using the provided account details.

Note: Make sure to use your business or corporate bank account, and once you initiate the fund transfer, we will need 2-3 hours for your Volopay balance to be updated, and any transfers done after banking hours will be done the next day.


For India

Method - Direct Transfer

Directly add funds by sending them to the provided account details. This method allows users to add funds from the current account registered under the company's name, using the provided account details.

For India, there is an additional step required for compliance reasons, which is whitelisting of bank accounts. Any account from which you want to transfer to your volopay wallet will have to be shared prior on email, post confirmation from your CSM, the account will be whitelisted with transfers enabled with 1-2 working days.

Modes you can use to transfer:

  1. IMPS (Immediate Payment Service)

    • Working Time: 24x7, including weekends and holidays.

    • Settlement Time: Instantaneous. Funds are transferred within a few seconds.

  2. NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer)

    • Working Time: 24x7, including weekends and holidays.

    • Settlement Time: Hourly batches. Funds are typically transferred within 2 hours, but can take longer during peak hours.

  3. RTGS (Real-Time Gross Settlement)

    • Working Time: During bank working hours, usually from 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays.

    • Settlement Time: Real-time, funds are transferred immediately.

Note: Payment networks to transfer funds may vary region to region.

E.g. India will have IMPS, NEFT and RTGS as options offered by your bank, which may take 2 - 3 hours to reflect in your account balance.


For Indonesia

Method - Direct Transfer

Directly add funds by sending them to the provided account details. This method allows users to add funds from the current account registered under the company's name, using the provided account details.

Modes you can use to transfer:

  1. All Indonesian Bank have virtual account transfer:

    • Working Time: 24x7, including weekends and holidays.

    • Settlement Time: Instantaneous. Funds are transferred within 15 minutes maximum 2 hours.

  2. RTGS (Real-Time Gross Settlement):

    • Working Time: During bank working hours, usually from 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays.

    • Settlement Time: Real-time, funds are transferred immediately.

Note: Payment networks to transfer funds may vary region to region, bank and time. Indonesia will have Transfer virtual account and RTGS as options offered by your bank, which may take 2 - 3 hours to reflect in your account balance.


For Singapore

For Singapore there are 3 methods available to ensure your Volopay account always has the required funds for expense management.

Method 1: Direct Transfer

Directly add funds by sending them to the provided account details. This method allows users to add funds from the current account registered under the company's name, using the provided account details.

Note the information provided about the time it takes for the funds to reflect in the account balance.

Admins are advised to save the account details shown and make sure funds are transferred correctly.


Method 2: Local Account Transfer

Another option is to receive funds from third parties into your account wallet by transferring funds to the account details mentioned below.

Note: In Singapore, for receiving funds from local third parties there is an associated charge of 2 SGD for SGD transfers and 0.2% for collections in currencies other than SGD currency.


Method 3: Swift Transfer

Lastly, users have the option to receive funds from overseas accounts using the swift transfer account detail to top up their wallets.

Fund transfer may take up to 4 hours to be processed and be reflected onto your Volopay account. And we recommend it be done between 9 am - 5 pm from Monday till Friday. For any topup done outside of these timings, the balance will reflect on the Volopay portal on the next business working day.

Once topped up, you can now use these funds for all your Money Transfers and Bill Payments.

Note: It is preferred that you do not transfer funds using GIRO as it might take a longer time than usual and in case you do, you are required to send the proof of GIRO payment to [email protected]


Note: Make sure to transfer funds only to the account details in the "Add or receive funds section, maybe initiate a test transfer to may sure the process is smooth going ahead.
