Preparing Your Device for vKYC Verification

Overview

Before you begin the vKYC process for LQ in India, ensure that your device settings are properly configured. Follow these steps based on your operating system to avoid any issues during verification.

For iOS Users

  1. Enable Location Services:

    • Open Settings on your iPhone.

    • In the search bar, type Location Services and select it.

    • Turn Location Services ON.

  2. Configure Safari Permissions:

    • Go back to the Settings app.

    • In the search bar, type Safari and select it.

    • Scroll down to Settings for Websites.

    • Locate Location, Microphone, and Camera permissions and set them to Allow instead of "Ask."

  3. Disable Pop-Up Blocker in Safari:

    • In the same Safari Settings page, navigate to General.

    • Find Block Pop-ups and turn the toggle OFF.

Your iOS device is now ready for the vKYC process. You can proceed to scan the QR code on the Volopay platform.


For Android Users

  1. Enable Location Services:

    • Open Settings on your Android phone.

    • In the search bar, type Location and select it.

    • Turn Location ON.

  2. Set Chrome Permissions:

    • Go back to the Settings app.

    • In the search bar, type Chrome and select it.

    • Navigate to Permissions.

    • Set Location, Camera, and Microphone permissions to Allow only while using the app.

  3. Disable Pop-Up Blocker in Chrome:

    • Open the Google Chrome app.

    • Tap on the three dots in the top-right corner.

    • Scroll down and select Site settings.

    • Locate Pop-ups and redirects.

    • Toggle OFF the pop-up blocker.

Your Android device is now configured for a smooth vKYC experience. You can proceed to scan the QR code on the Volopay platform.
