Overview

This feature is particularly beneficial when you need to upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan with any online vendor. The virtual card’s limit and frequency can be easily adjusted, with changes taking effect immediately, ensuring seamless management of your subscriptions. Additionally, if unexpected expenses arise during a specific month, you now have the flexibility to temporarily increase the card limit exclusively for that period, providing you with greater control and adaptability in managing your financial commitments.

Steps to edit virtual card limit

Step 1: Navigate to the My Volopay section and proceed to the Virtual Card page.

Step 2: View all the virtual cards listed, and select the card for which you want to edit limit. To edit a card's limit, click on the Edit Limit option. This action opens the edit limit form. Alternatively, access the same form by clicking on Edit Limit within the card's table.

Step 3: Specify the new limit for the card. If desired, change the frequency of the card limit from one-time to monthly or vice versa.

Step 4: Provide a reason for requesting a higher limit and click on Request.

Step 5: Review the details on the Edit Limit Review page. Check the old limit, the increase in the limit, and the new available balance after the request. And "Submit" the request.

Once approved by your admin/manager, the new limit will reflect in the card limit.

Note: You can also temporarily limit of the virtual card just for the month if you have selected “apply limit change only for the current month” toggle on, in the edit limit form. The temporary limit can be applied on to cards with Monthly frequency.
