Syncing Transactions to Deskera

Our accounting software integration is a quick and simple one click process.

Please follow the steps below:

  1. The client can click on the Connect button, then give access to Volopay to do the integration at the backend. Then the Accounting Software is connected and ready to sync.

  2. Sync the "Chart of Accounts" and "Vendors" from Deskera into the Volopay Platform.

  3. The Accounting fields are fetched from the accounting software and they appear in the Fields in the Integrations Tab. Please check out more here to understand Connecting to Deskera

  4. Now every expense made, we can assign it to a particular Chart of Accounts and Vendor when submitting an expense for review.

5. These Accounting fields can be made mandatory to be filled up for every expense through this setting below.

This can also be done at Budget level

6. Once the expense is synced, the same can be seen in Deskera by logging into the Deskera platform. The user needs to visit the Accounting in the main Home screen, and click on Accounting → Expense.

Click on any transaction to open it and perform actions like Edit etc.

7. In case of a single currency account, only Volobank SGD will be available and both Volobank SGD and Volobank USD when a multi-currency account is enabled on Volopay and subscribed with Deskera.

8. You can see transactions specific to Volobank SGD/ USD by going to the Bank→ Volobank SGD/ USD

To check out all transactions pertaining to a Volobank, click on it and open up Deskera Transactions
