What is Volopay credit line?

Volopay allows companies to ask for a credit limit and utilize credit balances to cover card expenses and repay the credit bill once it's generated. Additionally, you have the option to partially repay the credit bill before the billing cycle is completed, allowing you to maintain a sufficient balance for corporate card expenditures even if the credit limit is reached mid-month.

Applying for Credit

Volopay provides the fastest and hassle free credit line for business expenses with an aim to facilitate customers convenience. The seamless online application and approval process helps you to get quick access to funds with nominal fees. The credit on your Volopay cards can be used for day-to-day expenses like travel expenses, digital marketing expenses, subscriptions etc.

To opt for credit,

  • Kindly visit the Dashboard and visit the credit section and apply for credit by providing relevant details.

Once we get the information, our credit team will process it and inform you the amount of credit limit. There are multiple factors which will determine the amount of credit limits like current financial situation, cashflows, bank balances, repayment history among many others.

Upon sanction of the credit limit, the company needs to sign an e-facility agreement.

Increasing your Credit Line

In case you want to increase the Credit Limit provided to you, please visit the Credit section on the Dashboard to raise a request to increase the limit as shown below.

Repay utilized credit limit.

The Billing Period for each Credit cycle is 30 Days. Say if you are provided with the credit line on 1st January, you will be billed till 31st January and the repayment is in the next 10 days i.e. 10th February.

For paying the Credit Bill, kindly follow the below steps:

Kindly Navigate to Dashboard > View details > It will open the credit window for you > click on Pay Now button.

Repayment after the credit bill is generated

Step 1: You have the option to fully repay the utilized credit amount when the credit bill is generated at the end of the billing cycle. Your invoice, containing a monthly statement outlining all expenditures for the month, can be accessed and downloaded from the "Credit" section on the dashboard.

Step 2: To make repayment before the due date, you need to have funds in your Bill Pay balance or you can top up the funds by sending funds to the bank details mentioned in add money section.

Step 3: Go to the "Credit" section and click on the "Pay Now" and choose "Pay total amount" radio button option and make the payment.

Repayment before the credit bill is generated

Now you can pay the credit bill partially or in advance as well.

Step 1: To make repayment before the bill is generated, you need to have funds in your Bill Pay balance or you can top up the funds by sending funds to the bank details mentioned in add money section.

Step 2: Go to the "Credit" section and click on the "Pay Now" and choose "Pay other amount" radio button option and make the payment

Step 3: You can increase your available credit balance by adding a partial amount and paying it from your bill pay balance. Alternatively, you can choose to pay the full utilized amount by entering the total and making an advance payment.

Repayment History

To view all repayments made by your company, navigate to the Credit section and click on the "View Repayment History" button located in the top right-hand corner. From there, you can download your credit repayment statement, which includes details such as the bill ID, utilized amount, repayment amount, and date.
